line
Center for Collaborative Research (CCR) was established in May 1996 on Komaba campus of the University of Tokyo to promote university-industry-government research partnership and international research collaboration. Generic science and technology incubated in university laboratories are grown up to reach the fundamental research accomplishments through various types of domestic and global research collaboration. Three research laboratories (among eight) at CCR are practically operated by the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST), and principally cover research areas including information science, life science, biotechnology, and advanced materials science.
