International Symposium
on Innovative Solar Cells 2009
Organizers: Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, the Univ. of Tokyo (RCAST) / National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) / Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo-Tech)
Co-organizer: New Energy and industrial technology and Development Organization (NEDO)
Supported by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI)
In 2008, Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST) of The University of Tokyo, the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and Tokyo Institute of Technology have commenced a project, under support by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) to develop innovative PV technologies.
We have decided to call for an international symposium to invite researchers with a diverse research expertise in order to evaluate the current status and future prospects of next-generation solar cells and to strengthen the network of international collaborations. Many researchers from industries and academia are expected to participate and we hope that this symposium will provide opportunities for fruitful discussions among the researchers.
