  Professor Hiroyuki Aburatani (Genome Science) and researchers from the
  National Cancer Center Research Institute and the Baylor College of
  Medicine analyzed the 608 liver cancer cases and identified the
  mutational pattern associated in the disease in Japanese. The article is

  Emeritus Professor Toshiro Fujita (Division of Clinical Epigenetics)'s
  authored paper, "Anti-albuminuric effect of the aldosterone blocker
  eplerenone in non-diabetic hypertensive patients with albuminuria: a
  double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial" has been published
  in "The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology".

*Professor Yukio Nishimura (Urban Conservation Systems) has been
  appointed Consultant on International Affairs from Ministry of Culture,
  Republic of China (Taiwan). The appointment letter handed to Prof.
  Nishimura on 19 Nov, 2014.

*Professor Yasunobu Nakamura (Quantum Information Physics and Engineering)
  was honored with the 11th Reona Esaki Award. The awards ceremony was
