The Aerospace Mobility Lab (Itoh Laboratory) held a symposium titled “The Future of Air Traffic” on Friday, May 23 at the Swiss Pavilion of the EXPO2025 in Osaka, Kansai. The event focused on next-generation aerospace transportation systems and the advancement of innovative air mobility.
The symposium featured keynote lectures by Professor Eri Itoh of RCAST, The University of Tokyo, Mr. Naoki Matayoshi from JAXA, and Dr. Peter Lenhart from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences. In addition, Japanese and Swiss experts participated in a panel discussion, poster session, and flight simulator demonstration, fostering in-depth discussions on the future of air traffic operations, ecosystem design, and human-machine interfaces.
