Mr. Steve Limpert from Arizona University visited RCAST, having lab tour and interviews with the researchers at RCAST from 9 July to 23 July.
“I have very much enjoyed my visit to RCAST and the University of Tokyo. International coordinators Takehara-san and Imaizumi-san have put together a wonderful schedule for me of visits and interviews. I have learned a lot in my discussions with the researchers at RCAST and have been very excited to learn about all of the important and innovative research that is going on. My experience visiting Japan to learn about solar energy technology use, development and public policy has been very inspiring to me and I look forward to continued work in this area. It has been my honor and pleasure to visit RCAST and the University of Tokyo for this purpose and I hope that I will have the opportunity to visit Japan again sometime soon.”
Mr. Steve Limpert is currently touring the world learning about solar energy technology use, development and public policy in different countries. Thus for this summer, he has visited Spain, Germany, Qatar, India, Bangladesh and Japan. After visiting Japan, he will visit Australia before returning to the United States. This research and travel adventure has been made possible by a grant which he received from the Circumnavigators Club Foundation. After returning to the United States, he looks forward to completing his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University and preparing for graduate school.
