Research Interests
I am conducting research on interactive computer graphics (CG) and user interfaces (UI) that can be used by non-experts.
Rather than simply consuming CG through media such as movies and television, I aim to create experiences that enable people to enjoy the process of creation and self-expression.
So far, I have explored design and production support methods for areas such as handicrafts, DIY, and traditional crafts, from the perspectives of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Computer Graphics.
With a personal interest in making things, my research also addresses related themes such as education and the transmission of skills, which are essential elements of the creative process.
