Research Interests
New semiconductor materials and new quantum nanostructures are exploited to achieve high-efficiency photovoltaic solar energy conversion >40%. Research includes, (1) Development and thin-film epitaxial growth of new compound semiconductors for application to multifunction tandem solar cells, (2) Selforganized growth technology of three-dimensional quantum nanostructures and super lattices, and (3) Fabrication and characterization of high-efficiency multi-band solar cells based on quantum nanostructures.
