Research Interests
In recent years, the field of materials science has seen rapid progress in the exploration of novel materials based on emerging concepts such as topology and quantum geometry. We are interested in elucidating the essential properties of these new classes of materials and in exploring their innovative functionalities, with a particular focus on optical experimental approaches. Our main research topics include:
1. Unconventional magneto-optical effects induced by topological magnetic textures
2. Nonlinear optical effects in antiferromagnets with broken time-reversal symmetry
3. Terahertz nonlinear responses in multiferroic materials
Through these studies, we aim to explore a wide range of novel physical phenomena in solids and to deepen the fundamental understanding of their underlying mechanisms.
