"Neuroscience and Art."
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Japan Neuroscience Society, we will be holding a science x art and design exhibition featuring eight artists and groups, drawing on neuroscience data and experiments.
Scientific knowledge of anatomy and perspective played a major role in the development of Renaissance art. Leonardo da Vinci was a universal genius, active in both science and art, but he was particularly passionate about studying the brain, conducting detailed studies of the ventricles and pursuing the essence of the brain's soul.
This exhibition uses 3D CG art, Interactive art, and craft design to artistically interpret and express the value of the brain, a being that we all possess but rarely experience physically, and which we perceive as something far away.
