me.rcast.u-tokyo.ac.jp気候変動への対策として注目されるグリーンテクノロジー。本ウェビナーでは、イスラエルから専門家をお招きし、グリーンテックや「気候テック」に関するグローバルな取組とその傾向を紹介いただくとともに、イスラエルにおける気候テックに関するエコシステムの現状について話題提供いただきます。また、グローバルなステークホルダーとの協働のあり方とその課題を踏まえ、国際協働の促進に向けた取組のあり方について議論します。

About the Speakers
Mr. Uriel Klar
Mr. Uriel Klar is dedicated to connect technology, business, and environmental missions to solve climate change challenges. He established an environmental research venture, founded an air pollution technology startup, and developed global partnerships in a multinational water company. Uriel leads PLANETech, a climate change innovation community, that promotes the development and implementation of climate change technologies across a broad set of sectors. PLANETech is a joint venture of the Israeli Innovation Institute and Consensus Business Group.
Commentator: Prof. Masakazu Sugiyama
Masakazu Sugiyama is a Professor at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST) of the University of Tokyo. His major research topics are high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) devices using the nano-epitaxial structures of III-V compound semiconductors. He is a recognized leader in the sustainable conversion of solar energy to next-generation fuels. He is a program manager of the Japanese MOONSHOT program, aiming to realize CO2 capture and conversion to chemical feedstocks driven by renewable electricity. He authored and coauthored 300 refereed journal publications and 510 international conference papers. He is concurrently the chair of the two social cooperation research departments of "Renewable Fuel Global Network" and "Next Generation of Energy Distribution System."
Moderator: Prof. Satoshi Ikeuchi
Satoshi Ikeuchi is a Professor of Religion and Global Security at RCAST and the Head of ROLES (RCAST Open Laboratory for Emergence Strategies). Professor Ikeuchi has published extensively on Middle East politics, Islamic political thought and global security challenges.

ROLES（RCAST Open Laboratory for Emergence Strategies 東大先端研・創発戦略研究オープンラボ）は、駐日イスラエル大使館の後援で、2021年に「イスラエル・ウィーク」を開催しました。2022年は、日本とイスラエルの国交樹立70周年にあたります。2022年の「イスラエル月間＠東大駒場リサーチキャンパス」では、日本・イスラエル関係、イスラエル・アラブ諸国関係、グリーンテック、ブロックチェーンとその政策的含意、気候変動などに関する多種多様なテーマを取り上げたウェビナーを開催します。また、ユダヤ教思想と、それを世界各地の諸宗教伝統と共に考察するセミナー・講演を、エルサレム＝ヘブライ大学等の最新鋭・最先端の研究者を招聘して、連続開催します。
これらの課題に関する最近の動向と今後の展開、また、日・イスラエル関係への影響について参加者の皆様とともに考えてまいります。様々な分野での第一線で活躍する研究者や専門家からのアイデアやインスピレーションを共有するとともに、協働の可能性を模索する機会の場を提供することを目指します。
